Sometimes I notice that customers find my jackets so beautiful that they want to save them for a special occasion. I see that as a real compliment — but honestly, I also think it’s a bit of a shame.
Yes, they are special jackets… but they’re meant to be worn. Of course, they’re perfect for a special day or a chic event. But they can be just as beautiful in a casual moment: while running errands, going to work, or on a city trip.
It really starts with something simple: hang the jacket on the coat rack downstairs and wear it whenever you feel like it.
Where are Majstudio's products made?
Everything I sell comes from India. I have a deep love for Indian textile crafts, developed through my travels and personal searches for artisans in India itself.
The makers behind my products are small, family-run businesses from different regions of the country, each with its own unique textile traditions. Currently, my collection is created in collaboration with artisans from Kashmir and Jaipur.
Do you have a store to visit?
I call it my studio. It’s not a shop with regular opening hours, but it does look like a little textile candy store. I truly love it when you come by!

I see certain items on your Instagram that I can’t find in the webshop. Is that correct?
Yes, that’s correct. Not every item you see on Instagram is available in the webshop. Some pieces are one-of-a-kind, part of a small selection, or already sold. Others may be available exclusively in the studio or haven't been photographed for the webshop yet.
